He used to play on a soccer field near his home, when a professional from Botafogo discovered him and took him for a trial. He played very well and became a professional player. He has played for many clubs around the world, such as: Flamengo, Milan and Real Madrid. Today he is retired and is a sports commentator on a TV channel.

How he ended up on a desert island:

He was traveling by plane to work as a commentator on a game. His plane crashed. He was the only survivor.

During the journey, one of the balloon's structures came loose and he ended up being forced to land at the first point of land he saw. That first point was the desert island. Now, he isn't able to come back home if no help because his balloon is completely broken.
