She obtained the loyalty of the people, control military, and negotiate issues that the city might have. The Jealousy that Gonzaga had of her power led for Isabella to often travel to Rome where her love of art truly began.

It was apartments until it became a cultural center full of ideas and life, she invited many poets, writers, and artists to this place to trade ideas and discuss about current news. Which led to many writing pieces of different perspectives during the Renaissance.

So his son spent a short amount of time as the leader before being replaced by Isabella. Due to Francesco Gonzaga exchange of property during his life, she also became the leader of Solarolo and oversaw the government until her death in 1539.
