         <description><![CDATA[<div>My view has changed from a very harsh, cold, and patriarchal perspective of Puritans, to one of  more modern-familial style. I realize now that they were very loving and kind toward their children, that women had a role in society, and that they deeply cared about relationships and interactions.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I thought that maybe the men were in charge completely and a little cruel to their wives since women were considered inferior, but I was surprised to find that the women had some power in the town and they also were quite loyal to their husbands and loving.&nbsp;<br>I was mostly right in my thinking but a few things changed.</div>]]></description>
