In Qld 23-24 are the years of accessible tourism - lots of grants funding so exciting opportunities to get funding for our facility to improve accessibility (Lone Pine)

ZooDoo Zoo in Tassie started new volunteer programme in 2023 - gaining traction now and hope to better integrate our vols into the zoo and further embedding our culture of conservation education. Some of our longer term vols will move into smaller subgroups with areas of focus (like animal care, outside cons work with community etc.)

Kicking off the IZE Training and professional development sub committee - will have flow on benefits with new opps for learning for this group.

Nothing yet implemented but has been an inspiration to match future programs with curriculum, we have been planning with teachers from pre school to TAFE to build strategy foundations
