Assalamualaikum & hi! for the third week, we were enlightened about the pillars of Iman by our facilitator Sr. Amni. Iman in Islamic theology denotes a believer's recognition of faith and deeds in the religious aspects of Islam. Its most simple definition is the belief in the six articles of faith, known as arkān al-īmān.

1. Belief in the existence and unicity of Allah
Say, He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent. (Surah Al-Ikhlas : 1-4)
we need to believe that there is no god except Allah and Allah is also the creator of the entire universe.

2. Belief in the existence of Angels
Angels do not sleep, eat or suffer from illnesses. It is crucial to believe in the angels, as they keep a record of our deeds. As a Muslim, we must know the 10 angels and believe in them.
- Jibril
- Mikail
- Israfil
- Izrail
- Munkar
- Nakir
- Raqib
- Atid
- Malik
- Ridhwan

3. Belief in the books of Allah
The third pillar is to believe in the books of Allah which delivered to the nations by the messengers. Allah revealed books to his messengers as a form of guidance and proof for mankind. Among these books, is the Quran, which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad.

I think that's all from me. Thank you!

Assalamualaikum & hi! for the fourth week, Sr Amni explained to us about the fourth, fifth and sixth pillars of faith. There is a lot of new knowledge that we learn in order to be able to practice in our lives as a Muslim.

1. Belief in Allah’s messengers and that Muhammad is the last of them
we need to believe that all prophets were sent by Allah to convey the teachings of Islam to us. We also need to know all the prophets that must be known in Islam. We can appreciate the story of the prophets to grow in love for our prophets.

2. Belief in the Day of Judgment
we have to believe that the Day of Judgment will happen and nothing can survive it. Belief in the Day of Judgment increases piety to Allah, causing us to worship more fervently. Allah has promised the Day of Judgment and no one knows when it will happen.
all that is Allah's secret.

3. Belief in the Qadhaa’ & Qadr (Doom & Divine Decree)
Doom (Qadhaa’) is the general decree of Allah that every human shall die, whereas a divine decree (Qadr) is a particular decree of Allah or the execution of Qadhaa’, that a certain person is to die at a particular time and place. Hence, believing in this pillar entails believing that Allah has created everything and has foreordained its proper measure.
