Bunnie consistently shows up for others in the communities they inhabit, fosters environments where people are encouraged to make connections, and goes above and beyond doing the unglamorous labor few would willingly do. I cannot think of someone more deserving of aid and assistance; their presence inherently makes every space better.

A rare and dedicated friend

Bunny is seriously a dedicated friend with a heart of gold. She showed up for me during a time of great medical crisis after a botched surgery and organized efforts to help me survive and find care. Because I was unable to talk, Bunny & others called around and dealt with insurance questions to save me the emotional turmoil, grief and physical pain. The efforts she organized fed my spirit and reminded me that i’m not alone in the midst of my my crisis and becoming rapidly more disabled. It’s rare to find someone in this world like her. She deserves all the kindness that she gives to others. She’s a pearl of a girl and i’m so glad to have met her 💚

bunnie is someone who gives an abundance of support, kindness, and care to others even when they are struggling. they lend a listening ear, are generous with their time and skills, and so talented at fostering community - not just the fun parts but the unglamorous and labor intensive logistical/admin/backend components. for someone who has been struggling for multiple years, i am continually in awe that they manage to still support so many others and offer their help so abundantly from a place of empathy and genuine desire to take care of others in their life. they deserve the world and i’m grateful to know them.

Bunnie is a model of community care and a dedicated community member. They have many skills and resources that they generously share with community and those in need of support. They are a detail-oriented organizer and have helped provide spreadsheets and documents that have been incredibly helpful in my own job search. They also foster connection with empathy and love. They often organize movie nights, craft nights, and co-working/body-doubling spaces, while always being considerate of accessibility needs. Through all the hardships they have faced, they have been a light in my life and I will be eternally grateful for the being part of their community. They are beyond deserving of any aid, especially after the years of emotional and mental labor they have provided community.

i've known bunnie for over a year now and in that time they have consistently shown up for others in our community in a multitude of ways, while navigating their own stressful and really dire situation. they have every reason to be selfish, bitter, and resentful but they've never expressed any of those qualities. i'm a better person for knowing them, and they deserve so much better than this!!!

I’ve known bunnie for over a year now and have seen just how much they value the community they’ve built in the various ways they show up, despite having their own life stressors. Community is thrown around often, but bunnie is someone that truly embodies and lives the values of such. It’s frustrating seeing how systems continue to fail them, when they deserve stability, rest and so much more.

Bunnie is truly the kind of person that is always considering the well-being of the people around them, occasionally at their own expense. There is a deep love of the world in them that I often wish was reflected back upon them tenfold. They are a truly special and excellent human being, and a friend that I wish everyone was lucky enough to have.
