-Latinos are 43% more likely to lose work hours due to the rising heat temperatures. a high percentage of Latinos work in industries like agriculture, construction, and manufacturing. these industries will be impacted by climate change.

Climate change is affecting the whole world, but these communities are needing the most help in these times. People of color are getting displaced because of natural disasters destroying homes. Big job losses are happening with the heat and finding new jobs in the same field is already difficult enough for people of color. Communities of color are already living in areas where environmental pollution is affecting their health. Climate change, caused by greenhouse gas emissions and other human activities will continue to cause these communities to develop more illness and desieases. 

We need to care because making a change to fight climate change would not be just beneficial for the environment, but it would also help protect communities of color. There would be fewer health risks, no worries of job loss, and a chance of being displaced.
