We live in a beautiful world. When we see green, we feel at home. I chose this picture because it made me feel at home. I love walking through a misty forest. They have a smell that invigorates me senses. I know plants have a huge role in the lives we live, but they also serve the purpose of given us comfort. The environment we live in is important should always be plentiful with plants

The video shown below is an accurate summary how important the process of photosynthesis is. It explains how we need oxygen from plants and they need carbon dioxide from us and other organisms. I chose this video because it briefly explains how photosynthesis works without going into much detail about every micro aspect of the whole process. This video is ideal for someone who has no idea about what photosynthesis is.

Bellow is a link to a website that list three native plants found in Georgia. The plant that I found most interesting is the Purple Passion Flower. It is one of the most beautiful plants I have ever seen on a screen. I would love to have one in my backyard one day.

https://www.gardenguides.com/109544-list-native-georgia-plants.html

The taiga biome is in the most danger in my opinion. The issue of deforestation is the main contributor that puts the taiga biome in the most danger. The taiga biome is located in northern America and northern Eurasia. If mankind does not stop endangering plant life in this biome, it may be harder for plants and animals to thrive in he future.

The first agricultural revolution paved the way to increased population and food supply for the human race. Study.com says that society enabled itself to interact with each other to produce more food on a massive scale. During this time period, society used the environment to their advantage for the first time in history. This also lead to other historical events such as the industrial revolution.

https://study.com/academy/lesson/the-agricultural-revolution-timeline-causes-inventions-effects.html

The Greed revolution is ongoing. We are constantly trying to figure out ways to increase the amount of food we grow. We use science and technology to our advantage in order to maintain food security. The picture below represents how we are always trying new ways to grow more food. Who would have guessed that drones would be in charge of maintaining our plants one day.

Oxygen. We may not be able to see it, but it is the most important chemical that we derive from plants. We breathe in oxygen from plants everyday because they breathe it out through the process of photosynthesis. Without it, we would not to be able to function at all as a species.

We may be a intelligent species, but that does not mean we can withstand the powerful force of mother nature. I chose this picture because no matter how much technology we have in the world, nature always finds a way to stabilize its resources. I believe that the earth is alive. If we cannot stop powerful hurricanes and flooding's, we cannot prevent natural disasters at all! We haven't even began to fathom what astronomical events we may experience in the future. Only time will tell.
