That makes the whole difference: nowadays, people are getting lazier and lazier since they know they can always check out their smartphones in the palm of their hands and instantly have the answer for any question in the world. It may be right or it may also be wrong, but being quick and LOOKING smart is all that matters - and, let's face it: at the end of the day, who's going to check anyway?

I don't think the world would be a better place without the internet, though. That would be a great step back in many aspects, and it would also make some things (but not everything) less fun. 

The world would be different, yes; as would be the lives of all of us who live in it.
