The articles Group Coaching on Pre-School Teachers’ Implementation of Pyramid Model Strategies: A Program Description, written by Fettig, & Artman-Meeker (2016) and Evaluating The Implementation of the Pyramid Model for Promoting Social-Emotional Competence in Early Childhood
Classrooms, written by Hemmeter et. al (2016) support this. Hemmeter et. al's (2016) study, for example, found that teachers who received the personal development training successfully implemented 69.9% of The Pyramid Model material. Teachers in the no personal development training group only successfully utilized 44.2% of The Pyramid Model practices. Teachers with the personal development training were more aware of their students emotions and interests, had a more positive learning environment, and were more nurturing towards their students.
