From matches by Kolkata Night Riders (IPL Cricket Team) to those by Mohan Bagan (football club), they were the talk of the city. In our school we had annual English, Hindi and French elocutions where we had to recite Poems or texts with emotions and modulations. I took part in it for 3 years after which I moved to Gurgaon. I thoroughly enjoyed the elocutions and also winning a podium place every year for all three elocutions from my grade. It helped me understand my passion for communication, debating and speaking. It also familiarised me with famous authors and poets such as Shakespeare whom I recited twice at the English elocutions. Also, around this time, my best friend's father had passed away. I tried my best to support him through his loss and it taught me about empathy and feeling the pain felt by others. During this transition period I had gained a lot of weight and with the transition to teenage, I became extremely self-consciousness. Despite my entire life, being very outgoing and talkative, during this period I transitioned to being alone or in smaller groups with my friends. Due to this consciousness I transitioned into being an introvert. It showed me a new of looking at life. The weight gain also exposed me to a new culture which was not native to a place but an emotion centred around goals and trying to achieve them. The first time I watched this video, I was surprised by the vastness of the universe and to this day having watched it over a hundred times, I am still surprised and amazed the universe and simply, our insignificance in it. This video helped me get a self-realisation of myself and was the reason I got interested in Astronomy and physics as well as the works by other scientists such as Stephen Hawking. This video has greatly shaped my interests in studies and maybe even affect my future. Soon after joining Oberoi International School, I got interested in aspects of education such as art, music and drama which I had never actually been interested in. I started listening to songs more and more which one day lead me to get a guitar for the Christmas of 2019. I started practising and spent more time on it during the lockdown. I also bought an electric guitar around Diwali 2020 to learn more. It did not have much impact on my health and felt like a regular cold for me but it helped me understand the gravity of the situation. No one from our house had left it in around 2 weeks and yet somehow we still contracted the infection. Just explaining how swiftly and stealthily it travelled. The lockdown had not affected me much being an avid gamer, I spent a lot of time playing games with my friends and practising guitar.
