         <description><![CDATA[<div>The theme focused on the smaller details that the women see rather than the large ones that the men observe and look over the details the women find. It had sexism in it because the men do not listen or look at what the women's opinions and blind to the truth. The men see the women as housekeepers rather than a person that holds value in society. </div>]]></description>

In the play, Mr Hale says that "women are used to worrying over trifles." He is referring to the women worrying over things such as the kitchen and the preserves, which do end up being important pieces of evidence that lead to Mrs Wright's motive being found by the two women later on, while the motive is never discovered by the men in the story</div>]]></description>
