• The delivering of care on Apple Tree Ward, a medical ward, was insufficient and there were many risks of safety to the patients. This impact required critical action to discuss the concerns of the inspection team.

'There was a lack of paediatric cover within the A&E department and theatres that meant that the care of children in these departments was, at times,increasing potential risks to patient safety.' This is rationing other members of staff to different departments and not providing the standard of care that should be provid to patients.
