You could put 0. Then the numerator like 0.50 but that would be wrong so you have to put the 50 or your numerator on the place your denominator says like the hundredths place so it would look like this 0.050

A tip: make sure to make a place value chart. When u convert decimals to fractions- the ones is a whole and then you get your decimal (let’s pretend the decimal is a 19.89) 19 is your whole number, and 89 is your numerator. The place value of 9 in 89 is your denominator. Which is hundredths place. So 19 and 89/100.

A helpful tip for fractions into decimals is that you take the numerator, write it down on the side, and make sure that the denominator is a power of ten like 10, 100, 1000, etc and you remove the 1 and you go back to the numerator that you wrote down and depending on how many zero’s you have, you count while doing the loopy-thing and after at the last loop you add a decimal point and if there is space, fill the space with zeros. And if you fraction that has a whole number/a number on the left you make that into the whole number in your equation.

Helpful tips: Just because a decimal looks bigger than another, doesn't mean it is greater than that decimal. ex: 5.030 is greater than 5.30 is wrong because if you compare it using a place value chart the 3 is bigger than zero and that basically means that 5.30 is bigger :)

Helpful tips when converting fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions are: remembering the decimal place and that the denominator of the fraction will determine the place value of where the numerator is supposed to be in the decimal. We simply place the decimal number over its place value. For example, 2/100. We write it as 0.02. We start at the right of the decimal point which is tenths, hundredths, thousandths, ten thousandths and so on. The whole number is placed before the decimal point. For example, 2 2/1000. We write it as 2.002. When converting fraction to decimal, we simply divide the numerator by the denominator. We add a decimal point when the divisor is bigger than the dividend.
