         <description><![CDATA[<p>Lasallian Charism refers to community, </p><p>I observed a very well-run class - students were respectful and quiet - listening and engaging with teacher - and that reflects the respect that the teacher is showing to them - Laura seeks out student engagement and participation - indicating her faith and understanding that students know how to answer questions. She referenced multiple times how a student did a great job talking about time stamp as an indicator of pretérito and imperfect as not having it - using information from their lives to make sense of grammar.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Students read each other's suggestions about how to improve their study skills. This showed a community building approach to improving study practices. QQT - they changed verbs and papers to practice preterite verbs. This showed great collaboration. Everyone participated. The rotating roles activity was a great exercise to build vocabulary and sentence building.</p>]]></description>

Lucky reader was a fun reading activity where students had to trust each other and be encouraging. Students had to be respectful and encouraging of each other. </p>]]></description>
