He believed that atoms were just a small hard indestructible sphere. For example, a pool ball was the closest example that he could give. Another theory that he came up with was that all this atmos are the same which is a very important fact.

Later on, he came up with the theory that atoms have electrons and that these electrons have negative charges. He described this theory as a plum pudding cake and that the raisins inside the cake were the negative electrons.
