Confucius is an interesting philosopher. The Chinese say philosophers, poets, revolutionaries, and the progressives of a generation are both geniuses and madmen equally. It's about a church in Sun City Center, in Florida which has taken a step towards the acceptance of the LGBT community there. I think that religion and the LGBT topic are both some very predominant topics in today's society. Wars between religions have been around for centuries, but the second topic really is a very new sphere of influence. The thing about religion is that it can be taken so many ways. There was a debate a few years ago between Bill Nye and Ken Ham about evolution and creationism. Like everything else, religion can be used to support ones actions to do anything. While not extremely ancient to the point of which we can't understand any of it, the teachings of Lao Zi are not the easiest thing to understand. Daoism and Confucianism both played and continue to play pivotal roles in the development of China, which the development of China, because China is still considered a developing country.
