Even today, it is more difficult for women to get a job than men. It may be because women are thought that they have much endurance or fooler than men by several elder men. Japanese companies have still many elder men whose positions are high, so it may take a long time from now to improve that bad custom. Besides, even if women got a job finally, they are made to be like a survant, like bringing a cup of tea for men, cleaning a room and so on. It is actually very old customs of working, but it may have companies in Japan like that. I hope this difficulty would be improved in the future.

I thought about housework. Almost housework do women. In Japan, when they going to Grandpa's housefamily, mens are sitting, waiting and talking. But womens working all the time for example cooking, serving foods, taking drink, washing, cleaning. Womens can't rest and eat food and enjoy. I would not like to do them. Mens should do them too. In my experience, when I was a child, I don't care about it. However recently when I went to my grandfather's house, I was angry that my grandmother, mother, mother's sister and older sister were all doing something, but the man was just sitting there doing nothing. Also, when my mother tried to get me to do something, I got so angry that I didn't do it. I was shocked to see that old-fashioned thinking still in my family. My cousins were still young so they don't care about it, but I realized for the first time that I was annoyed that they didn't even take the plates away.

sexual harassment, menstruation, pregnancy, and raising children are challenges for women today. Many women have a hard time with these things. Some women can't work as they want.

If women work hard and don't do housework, many people blame women; however, if men don't do housework, many people don't say anything, but if men do housework, many people compliment them. It's normal for a working woman.

Also, women's lookism is harder than men's. Men care about their looks; it's considered great, but almost every woman does too.

In school, we are prohibited from wearing makeup, but at work, we are required to apply makeup in a certain manner.

I think many people have thought that men is leader, so this thought makes women difficult to become leader and top positions. In Japan, women have to change last name when she is married. It affects her job. I think it’s challenging for women life.
