Hi, my name is Lorena, and I am a mother of 2 wonderful kids. I was born and raised in Michoácan, Mexico. I came to the United States at the age of 17. I enjoy reading, cooking, and watching the show 48 hrs. I live in Salinas, California. This is my seventh trimester with Pacific Oaks. I am working on obtaining my master's and teaching credentials.

I graduated from Cabrillo College with an A.S. in 2014 in Early Childhood Education while working as a teacher assistant for the Head Start Program.

Second Graduation

In 2019 I graduated from Brandman University. with a B.A in Early Childhood Education. I did an online program for about 2 years while working full time as a preschool teacher for the Pajaro Valley Unified School District.

Work

I worked for the Head Star Program for 19 years. Two years ago, I worked as a Site Supervisor Preschool Teacher for the same district I am working now. I worked with an amazing team and parents were very involved in their children's education. This is my second year teaching transitional kindergarten and I am really enjoying it.
