I tutored students from elementary all the way up to high school. When I was first employed as a tutor, I solely taught ELD students who didn't know how to speak much English. I found translating to them pretty helpful then I moved on to teach regular students that didn't need help in English. At first it was hard getting used to teaching each student because they are all at a different academic levels but after a while it becomes a little less strenuous. I would honestly prefer teaching a subject matter that I love hence why I chose art education, I want to be able to let my students explore art and know why art is important in our world. When I was a tutor, I felt that I got along with my students so that is what made me realize why I should teach. They are very supportive in my decision in wanting to become an art teacher. Although times may have been rough because it is competitive finding a suitable art teacher job, they're always there for me regardless. I absolutely love the colors he used in this artwork as well as the Impressionist style in which he uses thick layers of paint to create a texture on his canvas.
