I think people can change very much. In order to change they must be able to recognize their mistakes, and not just blame others for their own mistakes. In the Julian chapter, his mom kept blaming others for his bad act, and he went along with it and he didn'd realize that it was his own mistake, until he went to Grandmeres house, and Gandmere pointed it out to him that NO, IT'S YOU THATS DOING IT WRONG and she told him her story about Torteau Then Julian felt terribly bad, about how he treated August. Grandmere was a good influence on him. Another way a person could change is by having a good influence with you. If everyone blames it on others, than you are NEVER going to change. Think about your mistakes, and you will change for the better.

I think people can change. They just need courage and encouragement. I think this because when Julian was supposed to say he was sorry, but his parents weren't encouraging him in a good way. On the other hand, his grandma helped him realize how bad he acted to August. His grandma encouraged him to think, really think about what he did. His grandma helped Julian in no way his parents could of. HIS PARENTS WANTED TO SUE THE SCHOOL AND JULIAN DIDN'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. HIS PARENTS WERE TAKING THE EASY WAY OUT. THIS WAS NOT A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR JULIAN. THAT IS WHY HE HAD SUCH A HARD TIME REALIZING HIS MISTAKES. I think his parents should try harder to help Julian realize what he has done. All I'm saying is that it takes time for people to feel sorry. Even if it takes time, ITS BETTER TO ACTUALLY FEEL SORRY THAN TO JUST SAY SORRY TO MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY. Those kind of sorry's are not the good kind. That is why I believe that people do need help when they do something wrong.

Julian acted bad at the beginning b/c he was mean to August now he's better b/c he called August to say sorry.

People can change, they just need to admit that they've done wrong and ask that person to forgive them.

Julian called August b/c he was sorry and he wanted to say sorry b/c this time he really was.

i think that people can change but sometimes it can be hard.For example,in the book Julian was very mean to Auggie but when Julian heard the story of Tourteau and found out that Tourteaus name was Julian.He wondered if "Julian"woulld be mad if "julian' was still alive.

I think that people should not judge others of how people look, but judge themselves of how you act. In the beginning of the story wonder, by R.J. Palacio , Julian was giving a tour around the school for August. He was asking all the RUDE/MEAN question to Auggie. He was saying that those questions are not mean questions, he is only asking. Now look at Julian he is all nice to Auggie and forgives him.

I think there were 2 reasons why Julian changed at the end of the book.

1. Mr.Browne's letter changed him because it told Julian to think about what he did and how he would feel if someone did that same thing to him.

2. Grandmere's story also changed Julian because she said that she had made the same mistake he had when she was young to Torterou.

At the beginning, julian was really mean and he would be a bully to veryone because he was really popular. it is really hard to change because after Julian got suspended his mom and dad were encouraaging him not to change. That is why Julian thought he was doing the right thing and he thought it was unfair that he got suspended and that jack Will and August Pullman did not.

Julian was not kind or nice at all he was selfish for saying that it was there fault August and his friend jack this year was the worst, but it was all Julian and him bulling every one, mostly August and his friends.

I think that it can be hard to change on your own but if you have help to do it its basically like making a cake with a recipe book and a baker with you. Therefore they have to be in a good environment and if they are not it will be hard to be doing good while all the other people are doing bad. But if you are supported and if you are helped along the whole way you will, First of all if you're bad and you have kind friends you are really blessed. But if you have good and kind friends you will be changed in a little amount of time. Sometimes it is easy to change but in other situations, it is hard. It depends. Ignoring is actually better than being mean. So it depends. If your ignoring them it will be easier to change. Because you are not originally mean. But if you are mean it will take a little longer. ______________________________________ I think of it like a gauge. In the beginning of the story Julian was a bully. he wrote notes to August and Jack. He relised that he was doing bad stuff and felt sorry when he heard the story about Tourteau. He knew he did a bad thing an felt really bad that he cryed.

I think people can change, even if it is hard. In order for this to happen, they have to have courage, strength, and support. They have to want to change. Also, they have to realize their mistakes in order to fix them.

i think that people can change becaue life always gives you a sec. chance for exp. Julian got a second chance by just stop bullying but he did not realize it until his grandmother told him the story of Torteau that story changed his mind forever.people always have a reason to change. usually it is because they think that they did something wrong and the reason jullian changed was because he heard the story that his grandma told him about tourteau and how kind he was and that is the reason that he changed his mind and started to choose kind.

Julian was a jurk to Aggie and eveyone liked him. i THINK HE CHANGED becase his grandma with torterou and how bad they treated him and she figured out that he is just like

them so you should always be nice to evey one even if no one elces is. the only way julian is being mean and such a jurk is that his mom and dad cover for him

i think Julain changed a whole lot throughout the story. First of all, at the begining he continuosly bullied Auggie cause he was influenced by his parents. In the Julian chapter, when he was

at his gramdma's house his gramdma told him about Tourteau. So Julain realised that what he did was bad, so he wrote a note to August saying that he was sorry. August replied and fogived him. That is how Julian changed throughout the story.

I definitely think people can change. For example, at the beginning, Julian was being mean to Auggie just because he was scared of him. But when Julian went to Paris over the summer, his grandmother admitted that she was also once scared of a boy her age and revealed a very sad story about a boy who had polio, and so his legs were deformed. He walked sideways like a crab, so everyone called him Tourteau. That was one reason why Julian changed. The other reason why he changed was because of Mr. Browne's email, after Julian sent him a long email explaining why he chose the precept, "Sometimes it's good to start over." In conclusion, I think people can change. Definitely.

i believe that when people do wrong that they can become right. only if they can control their feelings unlike Julian the third

coldent control how much he really did care about Auggie but wouldent admit it. I believe that that takes a lot of change. Also withh the standing up to his parents was a big deal the parents wanted to sue the school but Julian and Grandmerewould not let that happon they knew something that nobody else knew they were smart and they used that to their advantage. This all showsthat Julian changed alot all throughout the Julian chapter

At the Halloween incident jack had said that he would kill himself if he looked like auggie....so Julian had thought he was actually not auggie's friend..I think that is why Julian had asked Jack if he would like to switch partners and Jack punched him

Julian changed in many ways. At the beginning of the story, he didn't think anything was wrong with the way he treated others. At the end of the story, Mr. Browne's letter and Grandmere's story showed him that he should always try to be kind to others. This made him want to write a letter to August and feel bad for what he did.

in my imagination i hope people will actually change if they will use kind words and dont even think about using bad words,or mean words because they hurt people's felling and the same happened with tortue the people in the school were actully hurting him by usings bad and mean words.
