First things first: passport and ID card (plus copies, just in case!), enough Peruvian soles (hopefully!), and an international credit card for emergencies. My phone and charger are essential, along with a universal adapter – you never know what kind of outlets they have!

Clothes-wise: cotton t-shirts, light trousers, a couple of shorts (for those sweaty moments!), a lightweight raincoat (jungle weather is unpredictable!), and a good hat to shield me from the sun. A first-aid kit is a must, with mosquito repellent (absolutely crucial!), sunscreen, painkillers, and any other meds I might need.

Toiletries are in mini sizes to save space: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo – the essentials. Binoculars are a must-have for spotting the amazing wildlife. And of course, my camera to capture unforgettable moments! I've even got a bird guide, hoping to identify all the species I see. This trip is going to be epic! See you in Moyobamba!
