MODULE 1 - Enterpreurnship

We were greeted by the Professors and the President of the College and the the President have a small introduction asbout the college and we students we asked to present our name with a adjective of what we were. Eg, My name is Pooja Mudliyar and I am a person with full of dreams and conclude your statement.

Then we moved on to the class where we had this lecture of Enterpreuernship with Professor Morais with two breaks in between which was very much needed as the Professor had lots of information to teach us. I was very pleased that the Professor had taught us a whole idea of enterpreurship in just one lecture. This is very Interactive lecture and really I was impressed with the lecture on how it was organised, responsive patient and able to clearly explain complex topics and nuances.

The Classroom atmosphere was full of positivity and used media channels to explain nowadays changes and how Enterpreurship works. Always use ideas, use proper allocation of shares, enough funds. Professor highlighted the main part as Finance and Investment. Professor showed us few videos of how we can build a business from scratch and have the business flowing.

The class ended with Professor sharing their email id to contact if anything required in future on any assiatnce which was wonderful gesture.

Then we had lunch during our break from the college, that was very kind gesture from the college. The food was unexpectedly delicious and the warmth from the people was pleasing.

Cultural Visit

We moved to Odivelas municipal and learned how Odivelas is helping startups and with new ideas to have theri business move to Odivelas to build theri economic development. This 25 year old municipal is having helping hands from big giant companies to increase their value of this wonderful place.

Then we moved on to visit Historical centre of Odivelas wherein the instrutor was good with so much of knowledge about this beatiful place and a every minute details of cultural change, the king, queen and the nun was explained.~

We ended our day with a group picture and called it a day off.

Module 2- Leader and strategy in Tourism

The Professor had immense knowledge about Tourism and went in depth on how his contribution towards Portugese Government changed. Tourism in Portugese grew after Expo 1998. During this expo Portugal was transferred in to a new world of development. They created massive construction during the expo. Like a big fundamental change came in Portugal after this Expo.

Sir helped us understand how sustainability is also a part of the Tourism industry. Customer or clients they want to see what initiative they have taken in establishing a sustainable environment.

We had a debate on how WHO has said how many genders does a tourism industry has to expect. And there 6 genders according to the WHO and Portugese respects this community in very large.

Cultural Visit

We concluded with interesting Tourism information and many videos of how Portugese was changed after earthquake and how Spain took over 60 years.

Post Lunch we went to Parque das Nacoes where Expo was build and the scenic place of seashore and the cable transport over the ocean was an eye of the event. Beautiful places for tourist and having a good time here watching the seas.

Module 3- Strategic Marketing and Applied Digital Communication

Professor Alexandre was very interesting personality. I learned alot from him only how marketing works. He literally helped me open my mind that think very clearly how a simple word Lowcost, premium and 24*7 supermarket works. Just a simple word has many meanings. And how our business should work with descriptions of your own ideas, key prpopostions, attributes. A very interesting lecture which actually opened my eyes on how well we can market our own business. Every idea has their own way of presenting to the customer. Always try to fill the needs and not what you want to start the business for. amazing line. I literally learned alot in this one week which I have not learned in a year. This was a lecture I would love to listen again and work with this Sir in future.

Cultural Visit

We went to Jeronimos Monastery where we were accompanied by Bonifácio Rodrigues. It was a surprise to see that Professor had already had papers to go this Monastery which already had a huge line, the way sir took us inside without a queue and even one tour guide who was Professors friend.

We went inside the Monastery and it was a huge religious place which had so much of 16th century carvings and the place was immense. The personel explained everything even a litle details about the simple architecture. The King, Queens and Spain rulers and every details of each room. The huge Monastry had rooms, confession rooms and kitchen, dining area. I really loved the tour guide on how well he explained each detail. Even the carvings on each pillar of the monastry.

The impecable Church was already had a huge line and the we entered in smooth way with help of the Sir and the Tour guide. The Entrance had beautiful architecture, the huge glass with many stories. We had Vasco da gama and the poet who wrote beautfiul poetry on the voyage of legend Vasco da gama. The church had many stories and many histories. The Bible which was changed from Armennic and Greek langauge to Latin. The statue and the carvings of one particular place was fuly engraved with gold leaf, this had Joseph, Mary and the Christ.

This was really wonderful end a beautiful jopurney of a week. I enjoyed every bit of the information, history everyone was passing without any hestiations and the pride of being a portugese.

We ended this wonderful day with the Nata which is the traditional sweets and this was an end to our journey.
