The game EVE has a series of tasks a player must complete to reach a certain level or goal however, Weiss states, " And these hopes and dreams can be destroyed by another player that wants to be a jerk" (732). <br><br>2. Gaming has been known to make people more violent in real life because, they are taught to act that way when they play video games. Weiss states that, "EVE is the rat imploded upon itself, a game that brings out the worst of its' subscribers' humanity" (731).<br><br>3. In the article, "Should Gamers' Be Prosecuted for Virtual Stealing<em>?"</em>, Alex Weiss, the author, believes that, ". . . attempting to bring real world law into virtual world . . . seems dangerous" (733). </div>]]></description>

The defendant stole two virtual items while playing RuneScape, a free massively multiplayer online [MMO] video game.
