once both Greasers and Socs are at the rumble, both wait for someone to start it. Darry stands forward to start it. Paul goes up against him. there is some tension between them and they begin to walk in circles around each other. sizing each other up and eyeing each other. Someone yells "Hold up!" and Paul swings at hard right at Darry's jaw. Dallas joined them and was already on top of someone. he was now out of the hospital with still a bad arm. Ponyboy almost got knocked and the Socs ran off. Dallas took Pony to the hospital to see Johnny after the rumble.

The Greasers win the Rumble, and the Socs flee. Right after the Rumble, Dally grabs Ponyboy and tells him that they have to quickly go to the hospital because Johnny is dying. Dally and Ponyboy make it to the hospital just before Johnny passes away from his injuries.

In chapter 9, the Greasers and Socs attend the rumble which results in the Socs surrendering and the Greasers winning. After the rumble, Dally takes Ponyboy to the hospital to see Johnny one last time before Johnny unfortunately passed away.

The Rumble between the Greasers and Socs is set for 7 pm and will take place at the Vacant lot. The rules are that no weapons are allowed, just fists, and the first to run loses. Johnny is still in the hospital. Dally and Ponyboy go to see him after the Rumble, and Johnny unfortunately passes away.

The Greasers fighting with the Socs and why they are fighting is they are fighting for Johnny because he passed away because of them. And the Greasers were winning.

at 7pm the Greasers and Socs go into the "Rumble". There are no weapons allowed. After, Ponyboy and Dally head to the hospital to see how Johnny is doing. He passes away while they are there.

In chapter 9 there is a rumble between the socs and the greasers at 7 pm in the vacant lot. Each team has an even number of people. Once the fight begins it is not long before the socs running resulting in the greasers winning. Once they win dally and ponyboy run to the hospital to tell Johnny the good news. Once they get in there and tell him the news he unfortunately johhny passes away.
