My first impression was that I was excited for the trip as it was my first time going to Thailand. Thailand to be honest is a nice country to be in cause things are cheap. Chiang Rai was a very interesting place to visit as it has an interesting history behind it. The hotel was not that disappointing, maybe I shouldnt be looking at google first cause I had a high expectation but it is still a good hotel and I am content. The food was very good, very nice ,very delicious. The white temple was also a very interesting attraction to visit and I like the overall looks of the place as it was very artistic.

It's my first time taking an aeroplane without my family and truthfully speaking, i was feeling anxious. When i boarded the aeroplane, that's when i got excited. It was my first time travelling to Thailand. I was prepared to explore how the country, Chiang Rai, looks like. Honestly, I expect the country to be very rural. It is quite rural and I realised this place have a lot of similarities when it comes to architectural. The architectural have a really detailed pattern, and I am amaze with how precise the design is. The white temple is beautiful and so is the "Golden Toilet". As an art lover, I truly appreciate the beauty.

We went to SOS children's village yesterday. The children welcomed us (in a really cute way) and different tribes were divided with different age group. My tribe got the age 3 to 4. We played games with them such as musical mats and dance with them. The bright smile on their face when they feel excited makes my day. They are so adorable and i took pictures with them. I donated my old clothes that is still in a good condition to them. We then tour around the orphanage and learn a bit of their lifestyle. Even if they live in a hard life, they are still positive and still jouful and that made me realise that we actually should be more grateful with what we have in our life. We should count our blessings, not our problems. I would love to visit them again if i have the chance too.

The kids at the childcare was all very positive and energetic. Although some of them was shy and afraid but they end up joining after seeing the joy that their friend was having.

After looking around the village and hearing their background stories, i felt that although their facilities is limited but they still being positive throughout the whole event. I could tell that they were really happy by the smiles on their faces. It was easier to communicate with them as they are older compared to the kids at the SOS childrens village. However, there was still a language barrier so we had to ask help from the teachers at the school.

When we reach there the first i saw was how energetic they can be when come down to doing sports or any physical activities. I find the place is more like a school than tuition centre. I was very surprised that they even know how to speak Chinese because i never see a Chinese school before in the Thailand.

Although the communication was very hard but they understand our explanation and played the game with joy. When we playing musical chair, most of the kids was very energetic some even use their soccer skill to try slow down the speed of the people that is walking behind him.

During poison ball game, the kids that lose the game ended up standing in the middle of the circle and did some dancing moves. They was shy at first but when their friend that was standing outside was cheering and joining the dance, they started to dance also.

After poison ball game we did some dancing practice. When we played the song, they was every energetic and started to dance. I was surprised as i saw some of the kids' dancing moves was very nice and it even synchronise with the song beats.

Lastly we did captain ball. The first round when we did wasn't very good as the team not sure where should they pass to score. After showing demo and some help from the teachers we played another round.During the round the kids was very hyperactive but they only pass to some of the friend that is good. There was this 2 kid that was very good they score most of the scores. Their passing was very nice without fail the ball wont be stole away by the opponent.

When we was visiting the village, i felt that their housing condition wasn't really good as there was cracks around the outer of the house. Around their village, they planted some of the plants that will grow fruit that is eatable and then they will take it and sell in the market. I felt that they are actually living a farmer life where they will plant and sell the things that they plant around their houses.

There were many small shops around there selling clothing. There was a temple at there. The statue was really big. There was this statue where 2 elephants was connected, it also allow people to go up to sit in the elephant to take picture.

It wasnt a very good experience as the time we had at the village was very less and the area was very dark. We should go when the sun was still up as we can see more stuff which they are selling. Some of the item that they sell was interesting like the ring that they wear on their neck. The story behind the reason they wear ring on their neck was that when there is no man at home, they have to protect themself from the tiger as tiger always attack neck.
