We went over the summer and we spent somewhere around 3 and a half weeks there. I was very young so I didnt remember much, but the parts i remembered, were very and still are very important to me. The sights I saw were amazing and beautiful, but it also gave me a good view onto what life was like for less fortunate people. Garden St was closed down. Any students attending that school would be forced to the other surrounding are schools. I as a incoming 2nd grader, would be forced to JFK. It ws my biggest. It was hosted in a big party salon about a minute from my grandmothers house. It was really late at night, i mean everyone was cleaning up and leaving. My mom recieved a terrifying call. She burst out crying, screaming, kicking at the floor. She gasped. for air, exhausted, panting. She wasnt able to speak properly for about 15 minutes. Then she finally broke the news to us.
