         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="http://www.encyclopedia.com/people/social-sciences-and-law/business-leaders/james-fisk">James Fisk was known for living life excitingly and wild. Nicknamed after "Jubilee Jim" when spending a New York time of his life. Born on April 1, 1834 at a nearby town in Vermont, had later moved to Boston. He had previously worked in buying Southern cotton but later grew into the control of a steamship company. He came close to Daniel Drew and had helped him get on his feet by involving him in the "Erie war".&nbsp;<br></a><br></div>]]></description>

At a young age, 19 years old, he had began to buy coal lands for the significant value he found within them. Andrew Carnegie allowed Henry to buy 11% of the stock interest and to partner up the steel companies. As the Homestead strike took a rise, Frick's business suffered the high prices of the new machinery. He had a law office but had been burned down which led him to move over to the United States. Stanford worked along with his brother to start up a business in Sacramento. He then got involved in politics running for Republican treasurer. Leland involvement had motivated him the new institution for the memory of his sons death. </a></div>]]></description>
