Identify evidence for each criterion
Check logic between evidence and conclusion
Which are crteria are significant and which incidental (red herrings)

Transfer the skills:
Read article: e.g. trump on climate change
Identify arguments/ opinions
Establish criiteria for evaluating evidence supporting arguments/ opinions e.g. authority, currency, logic of conclusion
Evaluate evidence based on criteria
Draw conclusions, check they're logical.
