1. I found out that I am not a very good emcee. I made quite a few mistakes even reading from the script. I should also try to cut down reading and add in more improvision. I also need to have more confidence and eye contact with the audience

2. I have a broader vision especially when vetting proposals. Sometimes I could not really see the potential problems

3. I need to put in even more effort in dance. Many people from the audience can notice my failed attempt lol

- i would say its a learning process for me as well cus its my first time, our first time being heads of a faculty too so like the pressure and stress is there la cus we are the image of our fc and us together are the image of our whole fac

- i think some mental notes that i would have for myself is to firstly, lower my expectations for the crowd la icl like i cant expect us to be vv rah rah also in terms of energy so i need to learn to be the one giving it out also

- next thing that i think i can do better next time is to not be so quick to shoot down ideas. Ik some ideas like the shouting one was super unfeasible in terms of the artemis dynamics and like trying to act out ourselves getting stuck is also gonna be damn huge of a challenge but i think i also need to learn to take more risks la tbh even tho we need to strike a balance.

, the costumes for PUBs and STs, slide template, Tanghulu, the British accent XD, and the parts of the script). I think much of them were resolved but I should've check with them before planning it instead of the other way around. Surprisingly, communication went quite well in general. There were hiccups initially, but after a wake up call from FHs it gotten better (stuff with ardent and tech hub is a bit tuff though). We were stuck at ideation for the engagement quite a long time. Despite getting the general gist of what we're supposed to do (pigeon hole theory, 🙀) we can't quite pinpointed the exact thing we want to do or what the activity would look like from the students POV.

In my head, the engagements can be better but the 2 were the best that we had. I tried not to shoot them down even though my gut said otherwise (my attempt to curb up my micromanagement). I trust that it will work but I wasn't convince (overall, that's the point of trust) that's why i tried my best not the be the key personal of both the events. It was simple, if i can't sell the idea to myself, i could never sell it the rest of Artemisians. But i think it works out pretty well and it teaches me something through that very decision.

From planning this event, I would like to believe that usually, it is better to scrap a well planned idea than trying to fix and force something that are not meant to be there. The initial idea was 'connecting different costumes up with a storyline' it's prolly would not work as well if we persist with it. I learned to let go of things and surprisingly, it took way shorter to cook up a new set of proposal after version 1 (which receive a bunch of feedback to change from the teachers)

In terms of performing on stage, I think I could have done better if I had practiced the dance a bit more. I noticed I lagged behind a bit during some parts of the dance, which could have been avoided if I was more familiar with the choreography.

(actual practical stuff)

• First event→ at the start everyone dk what to do and the loop of convo may be a bit off it has been stuck between me and bunnath for quite some time before everyone is in the loop

• Our first draft was such a flop especially the first script… Im sorry 

• Communication again

  •  I see a lot of like we be like “lets think about it” and one day later person A came up with a whole plan and person B says okay instead of actually discussing it through → lowkey caused problems at the back 

  • But communication got better and better along the way like i fr feel it 

• Should have start looking at pubs work earlier now we a bit overworking them 

• Maybe should have a simpler teaser + opening vid? Took v long to shoot them although results is AMAZING but idk how many people actually have an impression of it

• (NOT RLY A POINT TO MAKE) maybe try to take intro pics outdoors if possible and pray to the god of rain and ask them to stop raining on filming days and check weather forecast too 🙏

• Maybe should have utilise hall booking to dry run instead of dance

• Our dance is very well done I think we may win pop 

• I thought without full run we will a bit cmi but actually not that bad, will still be good with an actual full run tho

• Will be good if we can be more used to being on stage, be more natural and stuff 

• Finishing I2F is crazy and I am really happy to see us pulling off the whole thing

(now is feelings part)

• First big event i ever planned omg this is insane but i feel so accomplished afterwards

• Having the whole fac in the hall is emptier than expected, no need be scared artemisians are funny

• Bainaruoshui is goated he makes the games not flop

• Dancing on stage in front of my classmates make me wanna end myself a little but I actually love their reactions like I'm so appreciative of this class eih 

• Sense of accomplishment is crazy and we really bonded through the process too 

even tho i wasn’t there in body i was still there in spirit, and like from the few dance practices that i’ve attended to seeing the progress that we’ve made, i’m very proud of you guys.

from what i heard from my classmates, the event was well executed and even though the crowd was sometimes a little mild, they told me it was fun and enjoyable. plus, they also spammed pictures of me in the i2f LOL which at the very least shows they were listening and like having fun.

I2F has made me realise just how short our FC term can be, and it has pressured me to think of how this term can be better used so that it's short and sweet. From the introduction of our Faccom to our step-down, we barely have a few months for preparation and execution when exams are taken into consideration, and as such, I hope to leave FC with minimal regrets

One of my character flaws is a lack of trust in working partners, and I think that through the process of I2F I've learnt to trust FC members more and depend on them

Also I've learnt more dance moves to put in the bag JAHAHAHA
