Li Xian- Comparing the amounts of solid waste produced by 22 key countries around the world, Singapore sits right on top of the heap. (Worldwide)

Xinyi - That recycling is done in Singapore as an attempt to decrease the amount of waste. Over(consumption) can be caused by people trying to follow up with trends and throwing what they have currently, generating trash. Government: The Singapore Government should ban plastic items (plastic bags, containers etc.)Encourage the public to use the product that is eco-friendly. Increase the production make it generalise and lower the cost for eco-friendly items.

Worldwide: Other countries, especially Singapore, can learn from the ones that have good management systems on how they can maintain a low percentage of waste example from China whereby they build the world’s largest waste-energy facility.
