I believe that quantum computers and computing is one of the next disruptive technology followed by Machine Learning.

Quantum computers have the potential to revolutionise computation by making certain types of classically intractable problems solvable. It will use tremendous speedups for specific types of problems ranging from defence to financial trading and capable of hacking blockchain technology, though great progress is under its way.

Another example of disruptive technology could be Machine Learning. It is an application of AI that provides systems the ability to learn and improve from experience. It focuses on the development of computer programmes that can access data to use it and learn for themselves, without human intervention, to create better decision making. For eg: in insurance claims, it will determine if a new claim should be paid or not, based on previous cases, as it is constantly refining its decision making based on new data.

Hailed as one of the most disruptive technologies in decades, blockchain technology is at the heart of the shift from centralised server-based internet system to a cryptographic transparent network.

A blockchain is essentially a decentralised ledger that maintains transaction records on many computers simultaneously. Once a group or a block of records is entered into the ledger, the block’s information is connected mathematically to other blocks, forming a chain of records.

Because of this mathematical relationship, the information in a particular block cannot be altered without changing all subsequent blocks in the chain and creating a discrepancy that other record-keepers in the network would immediately notice. In this way, which eliminates the dangers that come with data being kept in a central location by a single owner.

We can finally look forward to a new era of human transactions without the traditional intermediaries such as credit card companies and banks to validate and back transactions.

In a blockchain, blocks of information are hosted on a decentralised peer-to-peer network, instead of a centralised server. Each block of information is visible to everyone and cannot be altered retroactively without the alteration of all subsequent blocks and the collusion of the network.

But blockchain technology has the potential to completely dispense the need for intermediaries. Once blockchain technology is adopted, peer-to-peer consensus algorithms will transparently record and verify transactions, dispensing the need of manual verifications undertaken by banks. This will reduce costs, delays and the general complexity of financial transactions.

From verifying data in insurance contracts to creating decentralised versions of peer-to-peer ridesharing apps or a decentralised network of IoT devices that can communicate internally to eliminate bugs or update software, the applications of the technology are limitless.

To conclude, one can say that blockchain technology is in its initial stages and has major challenges to overcome.

5G Technology
At the point when digital collaboration, telecommunication and videoconferencing turned into a part of our lives, we needed to get approaches to boost speed.
It was at that point clear enough for telecommunication companies that 5G was the best approach. The arrangement of this innovation will be significant for various tools like IoT.

Augmented And Virtual Reality
Virtual reality and augmented reality devices are becoming more capable and cost-effective by the minute. The possibility of using a VR space to interact with customers or co-workers seems much more plausible, and provides a richer interaction. The virtual experience may provide another revenue stream from customers, or be a sales tool to entice them to experience it for real.
AR and VR are among the top upcoming technologies that are conquering the B2B market. Major manufacturers of AR/VR equipment are teaming up with leading collaboration platforms or developing their own tools that help users work, learn, and receive professional training in the field.
AR and VR applications have proved to hold massive value for remote assistance and inspections, healthcare, industrial design, architecture, and many other industries and professional areas. Further progress in this area will depend primarily on the affordability of high-quality headsets and the improvement of their primary specs, such as the field of view and resolution.
