This is our formative, possibilities-open space for us to post our potentia-becoming-artifacts. Post your work in whatever state of completion they happen to be in, after labs, by Friday (or Monday) end of day. Because knowledge emerges from our interactions with each other, texts and materials, our artifacts here can remain in suspension, gathering comments and suggestions, until you turn in 7 (6 + teacher bio) "completed" artifacts on January 27th, 2025. Re-visit the webpage in our Brightspace site for full explanation of engagement with this Padlet (purpose, rubric, etc.)

The lab this week was helpful in discussing technology. The class discussions were helpful to hear different perspectives on the online teaching environment. I have been involved in the online education environment since I was in high school, both as a student as well as a tutor and an instructor. Our discussions in our online lab were helpful for developing this potentia. The content has left me still thinking about how to approach the flexibility we can provide with technology. Some of my peers record lectures and some do not. Everyone has their own reasons, but many choose not to record in order to increase attendance and class participation. I am thinking about ways we can still have engagement while providing students with flexibility to attend classes asynchronously. Thank you everyone for your insight during lab!

Thanks to the students in EGLA 1000 for participating in a collaborative rubric-building activity in Fall 2024. I think that a collaborative rubric is inherently "invitational," and I hope that building this rubric encouraged students to participate in "meaningful enactment" of their assignment. Listening to their ideas for a collaborative rubric also helps me to understand how they imagine their assignments.
