Then on 27th August, that was a Saturday, my friends left and I went to my dad’s house for lunch; after lunch I went to Macerata by bus and visited my boyfriend. We watched a film together and went out for dinner with some other friends. We had sushi first and then we had ice-cream. Later we went home, we got changed and we headed to Porto Recanati to spend the night at the disco. There I had a good time because I was with my friends and we danced all night long. Moreover there was a famous DJ who played some great music. I left the disco at 3 am and we got home tired but happy for the beautiful night but in general for the wonderful week that I had spent with the people I love the most.

I have a lot of great memories, and it isn’t easy to choose a single day that I enjoyed the most, but I think the last holiday I went on is very close to the best thing that happened this summer. 

Basically each year, usually at the end of August, I go on holiday with my friends for about a week to the mountains; it’s a tradition that our parents started the they were really young, so basically I’ve been going on this vacation since I was born.

I can remember one day in particular that I can define as the best day of my summer: the 20th of August.

I woke up at 6 am to get ready, it was the last day of vacation, so we were all feeling a bit down; I went to meet my friends to have breakfast together and at 9 am we left the hotel and took the car to go to the meeting point, where the hike started.

It was about 3 hours long, a lot of water was needed since it was really steep, but we made it to the mountain hut at about 12. We had lunch and we ate our usual sandwiches with ham or cheese that the hotel provided us. 

After lunch we rested a bit since we were all tired, but also proud and amazed by the breathtaking view we had from there. 
When we regained our strength, we took a chairlift to get to the top of the mountain. It took about another 15 minutes on foot to get to the very top after the chairlift, but when we made it, it was really worth it. We were on the highest point so we could see everything around us from above and it was one of the best landscape I've ever seen in my entire life.

We stayed there for about half an hour to take some pictures for the ones that didn’t come with us and then we went back down.

So we took the chairlift and got back to the mountain hut and we played with the ball for a bit, it’s not something that I really enjoy, since I’m not very good at it, but when you’re with the right people everything is much more fun. 

Then unfortunately we had to say goodbye to that wonderful place to get back to the hotel for dinner.

Once we reached the hotel, I got ready with my friends and went to dinner. We were all a bit sad, reminiscing about all the fun we had that week and about the incredible experiences we had, looking forward to repeating them next year. While we were trying to come to an agreement about what to do that evening, a waiter came to us and asked if we wanted to spend the evening with them, since it was their last night of work too. They were all our age more or less, so we agreed.

We went back to our room, we got dressed and then the waiters came to pick us up and we went to a pub near the hotel. We talked a lot and got to know each other better. I was glad that they invited us that night, or else we probably wouldn't have done anything and that evening would've been dull. 

After like an hour or two we got back to the hotel and we decided to stay in my friend's room. We came to the agreement to stay up that night since we had to leave at 5 am. 

We kept talking about everything, playing board games and laughing at the most silly things, but after a while we had to say goodbye because it was getting really late.

In conclusion, it was a perfect day spent with the perfect people and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

But to me, summer is much more than that. 

It’s the gift of the present that we live in barefoot dances, laughter and melody with the people that make any place feel like home. 

Year after year we simply aim to make this one better than the last, and it works!

The best day I had in the summer was certainly in my hometown. There we find nature at its best and in the blink of an eye for me, it was like going back in time…

That day started with a walk with my friends through some of Romania’s most remarkable and significant places of history, for example the fortress of Stephen the Great, which I really enjoyed.

After taking a lot of pictures like we guys used to do, me and my friends decided to continue our day by going to one of Romania’s biggest salt mines. 

We traversed what it means to breathe “healthy” air. It was cold, rather freezing, and it induced some headaches, but the beauty of the rock formations so deep underground made any discomfort go away.

One of my friends even licked the salt on the wall and said it tasted somewhat authentic. 
Let’s give her the benefit of the doubt shall we…

Coming out, “normal” air felt basic. 
We are yet to see the so-called health benefits of this whole experience unravel though.

Returning closer to home, we came to the conclusion that none of us wanted this day to end  just yet, so me and my best friends got dressed and went to a party. No dress code, no worries, just fun!  

With some lovely music in the background, we watched the Moon appear on the black canvas, followed by hundreds, thousands of bright white dots that illuminated the sky. 

I also made a wish and who knows, maybe one day it will come true! 

So, yeah. Summer is the season of warmth, joy, relaxation for me too. 

The only difference is that I am blessed by the soft colours of nature, the delicate browns and the sky that deeps to show us the stars, the earthiness that lasts a lifetime which to me is also known as friendship.

The part I liked the most was the flight, except for the part where an annoying 5-year-old kid decided to playfully kick my seat as if his life depended on it. Luckily a death stare was enough to make him finally stop. Besides that, the whole trip was amazing, I enjoyed rewatching Black Widow, one of my favorite films ever, with my little sister on my laptop.

As soon as we landed in the Moroccan environment, the sudden weather change was immediate, as you could instantly notice how the wind was very heated, much more than the Italian. After taking another round of paper checks, we found a taxi waiting for us outside the airport, ready to take us home. The drive was about 2 hours long since I landed in Marrakesh but I lived in El-Kelaa, a smaller town in the southern part of the country, the one closer to the desertic region. I fell asleep during that part of the trip, so I didn’t get the chance to relish it to the fullest. It was already 12:30 am when I arrived at my grandma's house. Of course, I found many, already cooked, dishes ready to fill my stomach, but it was just too late for me to even look at the food. I just fell asleep, again but quicker this time, on the couch, drifting away in my sleep.

Although summer is not one of my most-liked seasons, this year I was able to relish some gratifying holidays. I’m glad I didn't hang around town all day! The longer days and the sun high in the sky even at seven in the evening gave me ravishing moments at sunset both on the seashore and from the window of my house.

If I think of the word summer, the first thing that comes to mind is July 5th! Truly indelible.

A day spent entirely in an amusement park. Who wouldn't want to spend a day in a theme park on a delightful summer day? Among other things with your best friend! Fun guaranteed!

We had been organizing this day since last year and it couldn't have gone better than this.

On July 4th we met before dinner to be able to eat together and share our emotions. We stopped at a restaurant in our city and the sensation was great! I had a knot in my stomach and almost the food didn’t go down... how much effort to eat a single pizza!

It was about 10 in the evening and we were outside the pizzeria, it was still hot and I was surrounded by a strong feeling of euphoria.

For the night I decided to bide and sleep at my friend's house, electrifying, isn't it?

On the way from the restaurant to home, I picked up the phone and put on some music. I was blithe and cheerful. With music, everything is colored differently and makes every moment remarkable. Isn't that for you too?

Once home I promptly changed and went to bed to rest since I already knew that I would not sleep for the eagerness! So it was!

It was midnight and I was still talking to my friend, I couldn't stop chuckling and we almost woke everyone up!

It was late, I was tired but the tiredness that day... was not for me! Or maybe yes... after a while I fell asleep.

At 7 a.m. my alarm goes off and in a few seconds, I am already out of bed ready to go on an adventure! 

After a satisfying breakfast with brioche and cappuccino, I get in the car with my best friend, her brother, and her parents and we go!

For the enthusiasm, the trip seemed everlasting!

As always music has been the soundtrack even to this day, what would I do without my beloved music?

But I was very drowsy after a night spent joking and chatting, so I decided to rest for a while.

After two long hours, between stops at motorway restaurants and traffic, I was finally at the entrance of Mirabilandia!

Emotion overwhelmed me!

The air passed through my hair and made them move gently, the sun's rays caressed my face on a boiling summer day and the shriek of all those guys who were having fun attracted my attention.

I cross the threshold of the entrance and run with my friend to the first attraction, one of my absolute favorites. The Katun.

The queue was utterly desolate! It's a dream, isn't it?

After a few minutes I am sitting on the attraction and instantly "BOOM", I was racing the carousel at exceptional speed.

How much adrenaline flowed in my veins! 

After the first lap, I was already in line for the second, I would never get tired!

Walking under that sun was as pleasant as tiring and after a teeny walk, I reached the second attraction, the iSpeed.

With a speed of 120 km / h, I made turns upside down and went left and right.

After several hours of attractions, it was time for lunch. 

I decided to stop at a weeny point that sold sandwiches and I took one with meat and chips. Not a very healthy lunch but, you know, sometimes this is fine too! Who would give up a great sandwich? I think I already know the answer.

After lunch, despite the desire to get on those splendid rides, my friend and I decided to rest for a while in the shade and after a few hours, we went back to have fun.

It was a great day and I even tasted bubble tea, a popular iced tea drink recently. One of the best drinks I've ever tasted! And have you ever tried it? Do you like it?

In the evening, after having dinner all together with meat and fried food, I got on the Ferris wheel! What a sensational view from above. Describing that emotion in words is complicated but I can assure you that all those lights create a truly electrifying and breathtaking atmosphere!

A wonderful experience that I would do another million times!
