We organised our school to bring in lots of food for our local food bank. You all did brilliantly! We displayed, packed and organised all of the food. Thank you!

Christmas cards

We all happily gave up our lunch times to make cards for the people who cannot get to church at Christmas time.

Advent liturgy

We led our school in year 3 ,4,5 and 6 in a liturgy to help everyone get ready for Christmas. Father Duane heard our confessions afterwards.

food bank

We led an assembly to remind everyone about the food bank and we are going to give each class a turn to fill the box. We came up with some class rewards, like extra play, a turn on the gym apparatus and lots of house points. Mrs Lucas comes to collect the box when it's ready. Class 5 Mini Vinnies got to visit and help in the food bank!

Serving our Parish

We went to our parish centre to serve the people who are sick after they has a special liturgy, we enjoyed chatting and giving out the food.

The Big walk and prayer stations

We organised a sponsored walk for CAFOD and the Good Shepherd Appeal . We all helped our families to explore prayer in different ways through our pryer stations.

Leeds

On the 20th May, some Mini Vinnies will go to Leeds Cathedral to give the Bishop the money we raised for the Good Shepard Appeal.
