I will create the collection in Destiny so that all students will have access while at school or off-campus.  I will do a book talk featuring this book and other stories related to the Civil War.  This recording will be used for the eighth-grade American History classes.  The recording will be added to the library website and posted on Instagram.

After the story the children will be given a chart as a guide to help them establish a bedtime routine. Each student will be given glow-in-the-dark stickers to put on the chart when they followed the bedtime routine.  In addition they will receive a door hanger that they can color to hang on their door to let everyone know they are sleeping.

Each Monday during the month of May, students will meet in the media center during lunch to listen to a couple of chapters from an audiobook. Snacks will be provided along with coloring pages set out for them to to work on while listening to the stories. At the end of the month the students will vote on the four books and the most popular title will be purchased for all the students that will be participating in the summer reading challenge.
