Polar Bears live in the Arctic. They are mammals. They eat seals, but the ice is melting, making it harder to hunt. Their average life span is from 25 to 30 years. Polar bears are very strong swimmers because their large front paws are slightly webbed so it acts like a paddle.

The Sierra Nevada red fox, also known as the High Sierra fox, is a subspecies of red fox and likely one of the most endangered mammals in North America. It has a small, slender body and legs, long pointed ears, a long snout and a long and bushy, white-tipped tail. It is typically smaller than lowland red fox subspecies, with males weighing up to 4.2 kg and measuring up to 100 cm long.

It is a nocturnal hunter and it eats berries, rodents (mice), hares and rabbits and birds.
Since it eats both meat and fruit, it means that it is an omnivore.

They have a thick coat of fur to help them stay warm and their feet are like snow shoes, so they can walk around easier on the snow.
It's average lifespan is up to 3 to 4 years.
They are very smart.

They are endangered because hunters would kill them for their fur, because their fur was softer than than wolf's fur.
