I had the same reactions as the other adults who were asked this question. I have had the same thoughts numerous times myself. As soon as the children started answering the question it made me a little teary eyed. The mentality that we need to change the way we look to the public changes from the time we are children to adults in a twisted way that emphasizes our flaws instead of our own beauty and perfection. I especially loved the answer, "Add a mermaid tail. That's all." Because it was so innocent and refreshing to hear. The boy in the video was so discouraged and it must be sad for a child to spend every day hating school. The video comparing what adults and children would change about themselves was interesting because children all saw nothing wrong that needed changing. Some of these students were also so confident in themselves, which I thought was a very positive aspect towards these individuals lives.

Hearing the kids speak for themselves was very powerful. It helped to show how simple minded, but smart they are. They think about things in a different way than we would imagine they would and we don't always give them enough credit. The children were innocent and their ideas were dream-like while the adults were harsh and critical of themselves. The other videos also highlighted that everyone has their own strengths and differences and that it is important to build them up.
