I could relate what he said from experience, with myself since it's the most simple example I can give and I learn by experience. Sometimes when I look at my peers, the way they speak to their friends, they would use these foul languages on a regular basis. Nowadays, vulgar words are often spoken the more you're close to someone. For me,if you're associating foul languages to how close you are with someone (especially for guys), I disagree entirely. Because you can observe from someone just by the way they build up their sentences. Questions pop up in your head like "Are they mature", "do they care", "do they respect you".

I never use rude words out of context and yes I'm proud of it, because I treat and respect everyone the same, regardless of gender or race or religion.
By simply greet or giving compliments to someone you know can improve your interpersonal skills and enlighten their mood. Since both my parents are Asian, I was taught the Eastern culture way by them. Meaning the very words you speak and body languange shows what kind of manner you have, and that reflects twice as strong back to your parents. What ever you do, whether good or bad, your parents will get the brunt of it. If you have the best attitude, your parents will be showered with the best type of compliments from people for raising such an obedient and respectful child. But if you're insolent, selfish, then be prepared to face the onion aunts or "makcik bawang in Malay", which means gossip aunts that like to make rumors that spread like Ebola, killing your family's good name for good.

In the end, manners maketh a man, and never use rude or offensive words to anyone, nor make a habit out of it. Since one day, you'll have kids of your own and they'll be your own reflection.
