         <description><![CDATA[<div>National library: In my opinion it is very beautiful because it has too much history, I like the architecture with which it is formed because we can see something baroque but at the same time modern because it is already a bit updated but it maintains some old aspects to enhance its ancient beauty<br><br>national palace: Once with my family and it is very nice to see how they have a miniature of the same palace and you can see everything that is there in detail, they also do a tour where they show you old elements such as the independence signature, war armor, etc.&nbsp;<br><br>Cathedral: I have not had the opportunity to visit it but from what I have heard it is really beautiful, I think that since it is a historic Catholic center in Guatemala it has a lot of emphasis on enhancing the architecture a lot, since a century ago the only art that was considered was everything that it had to be with religion.</div>]]></description>

Due to the fact that Guatemala suffered constant earthquakes, the National Library was moved to the Salón Mayor of the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, between 1917-1918. The current building dates from September 1957, with an area of 7858 m².<br><br>National Palace: The National Cultural Palace is located in the historic center of Guatemala City. It is a hall for various artistic activities and temporary exhibitions, as well as residential and sculpture collections. It was declared a historic-artistic monument on November 7, 1980.<br><br>Cathedral: It is the most elegant and well finished piece of its kind that has been seen in this kingdom, it is all stone but also carved as if it were made of docile material.<br>Arranged according to the rules of architecture, all of composite order so polished and ornate that it can be said to detract from the interior of the church. The main door is adorned with two paired columns on each side with their crowning.</div>]]></description>
