Should a building that is still strong be demolished and rebuilt? Or, should it simply be upgraded? Would a building that is upgraded be as good as one that was demolished and rebuilt?

My answer in my opinion is that some parts of the building are to be demolished and rebuilt while other parts that are still strong to be simply upgraded.

The existing building is yet to be standing strong until this day, why demolish it? Simple upgrades to make the building better than before is enough. That way not only may the upgrades be more convenient for visitors or workers, but the building will also still be original, assuming there was no history about it being demolished and upgraded in the past time.

However, it being demolished and upgraded will make the building stronger and it might be able to stand for longer for many others in the future to enjoy.

Both options have advantages and disadvantages. Using both options on different parts of the building seems convenient.
