Schools are the reason why American Public Schools are failing students. The School district has access to sending students with behavior be sent to the school to prison pipeline which impacts the student failing school. In "The School to Prison Pipeline" article it states "Hundreds of school districts across the country employ discipline policies that push students out of the classroom and into criminal justice system at alarming rates."

Precise Claim- Schools are the reason why American public schools are failing students because schools focus more on their overall appearance rather than what and how they teach students. Schools focus on sports, clubs, and other resources that only make the school LOOK good, but how does this improve what students are learning or doing in their classes? Based on the evidence in the School-to-Prison pipeline article it states, "The information on the following pages highlights common scenarios that push young people into the school-to-prison pipeline and offers practical advice for how teachers can dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline". This shows how schools focus more on this pipeline rather than helping the students understand the way of respect in and outside of schools and teach what needs to be taught rather than kicking students out of schools.

Schools are the main reason as to why American public schools are failing students. In the School-to Prison pipeline the school enforces these policies that push the students out of the classroom. This includes harsh tactics, physical punishment. Schools also are very well known for the vast majority of race that they have and due to that drop out rates, crime rates are big and that forces schools

Precise Clam: Schools have become the reason why the education system is failing and have failed to reach its goals for the public.
Reasoning: Many school systems have ignored the promises they made to the public and have plummeted the school into poor educational lecturing, bad performing teachers, irresponsible administrators, and terrible school policies. Even worse, many of these problems are "accepted" in these failing neighborhoods.
Evidence: Many schools allow policies that push students that have a higher challenging goals, causing many of them to have to give up on it with irresponsible teachers inhibiting students from synthesizing progress.

Schools do nothing to keep students in schools and have their education, that's the reason why American public schools are failing students. In the prison pipe line it states that the school system allows police officers to take out students from their class and interupt their education and take them away. Schools allow for students to lose knowledge if they are doing something wrong.

Schools are the reason why American public schools are failing students. They have students that do not meet up the standards that they have to meet in order to be in the right level. Therefore they push them through the school system. In the documentary, "Waiting for superman," they show statistics and explain how there are states that have really low levels in both reading and math but eventually push them through the system to next level. They use Emily as an example for the charter school tracks.
