         <title>Why do we need to find and alternate source of energy?                     Ans: Coal and petroleum are fossil fuels which means that they are formed by organic matter. And their formation takes &quot;EXTREMELY&quot; long time, which means we should be using them judiciously. They are also called a &#39;non-renewable&#39; source of energy as we might run out of them sooner or later. These resources also cause pollution as they release harmful smoke. Using solar energy, tidal energy. wind energy etc. cause less pollution and will not exhaust as they are a &#39;renewable source of energy.</title>

         <title>Germany is one of the countries that has found an alternate source of energy. For Germany, 2020 was a banner year in the production of renewable energy. Clean energy source, wind farms and solar arrays as well as hydroelectric and biogas plants, ratcheted their share of power consumption up to 46 percent, nearly equaling that of coal, gas, oil, and nuclear power combined. Also coal is the second-largest source of electricity in Germany. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ans: Germany has had a number of progressive environmental policies that have set the stage for its transition to renewable energy: Building efficiency standards and a green certification program in the late 1970s; financing for building retrofits, solar roofs and the first feed-in tariff program in the late 1990s; and an "eco-tax" on gasoline and fossil-based electricity in 2000. All of these policy actions have helped to establish Germany’s leadership in the global green economy but arguably the biggest driver of its energy transition has been the Renewable Energy Act adopted in 2000, which includes an updated Feed-in Tariff guaranteeing full-cost compensation to cover the actual cost of a specific renewable energy investment.<br><br></div>]]></description>
