What did they fight for during the civil war?&nbsp;<br><br>answer: the civil war in the USA was between the northern and the southern states. they had differences in economical and politic viewpoints, which resultet in a war about slavery. the northern states was opposed to this, while the southern states believed slavery should be legal.<br><br>3. when did the Civil war end?&nbsp;<br>1865<br><br>4. What were the effects of the Civil War?&nbsp;<br><br>- 600 000 people were killed<br>-slavery was abolished<br>-the south was devastated<br><br>5. What is the "Homestead Act" ?<br><br>It was a law witch gave everyone who wanted to till land more or less free access to 160 acred on the Great Plains.<br><br>6. Why did USA enter WW2?&nbsp;<br><br>Answer: USA entered the WW2 because of the Japanese attack on the Amarican naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, 7. December 1941<br><br>7. Which side did they join in WW2?&nbsp;<br>the allies forces<br><br>8. What was the&nbsp; "Marshall aid"?<br>The Marshall aid was a financial aid that the USA offered countries affected by the war, so they could rebuild. To recieve the aid, the county in need could not be a communist nation.<br><br>9. Who was the enemy of the USA during the Vietnam war?&nbsp; and who won?&nbsp;<br>During the Vietnamese war, there were several parties involved. The FNL guerrilla (North Vietnam) with Russian armament and financing, trying to implement communism in the southern parts of Vietnam. But these efforts were combated by both South Vietnamese and American soldiers, desperately trying to deny the communism of advancing and expanding.<br><br>10. What were the reactions to the Vietnam war?&nbsp;<br>The vitnam war was a war between the north (communist) and the south (capitalist). The US suported the troops in the south with troops and the sovjet suported the north. The north won when the US pulled out of vietnam<br><br><br>11. What was "The Cold War"&nbsp;<br>Who was the enemy?&nbsp;<br><br>answer: the war was between the former allies (the communists) and the capitalists (USA). they fought about the future development of Europe. they often fought on behalf of opposite parts in civil unrests in other countries. during this war the world was closer to a nuclear disaster than ever before</div>]]></description>

However, the majority of americans are against government control. This is not surprising, considering the whole idea of the american dream is based on liberty and the ability to accomplish whatever you want as long as you work hard enough for it yourself. <br> </div><div>4.  </div><div>For many Americans, the gun represents the heart of their nation’s foundation and identity, a symbol of their freedom<strong>.</strong> <br><br>5.<br>The american dream is the idea of freedom and the chance of creating a better life.
