Literacy Leader meeting/ Observing Teachers - I have learnt a lot from the literacy leader as a teacher.  I have found that they keep up with changes in the curriculum so well and is constantly demonstrating best practice. She keeps the other teachers up to date on training and this filters down to support staff.

Meeting Poet - Neal Zetter very inspiring! This made a massive impact for the children in my school.  It made poety fun and more achievable to do themselves.  Neal's enthusiasm and natural comedy promoted a love for reading and poetry.

The examples and mini exercises have taught me different ways to teach maths that will suit a variety of learning styles.

BBC Bite size This website has clear information in how to develop a students maths skills. It can also teach the practitioner different techniques that may of changed according to how they were taught at school. It also has activities, videos and games that children find fun and entertaining to complete.

Ispotnature is an online data base that enables students to upload plants and animals they have found and scientists and other members of the community can respond which can inform learning.

BBC Bite size has all the answers! It explains everything clearly which help practitioners and the students.  IT is relevant to the curriculum and its outcomes are clear.

Peacock et al (2014) Primary Science This book has allowed me to learn a little bit of everything about science.  It helped me address gaps in my knowledge and can be referred back too any time.

Completing my science GCSE! I got a B last year!! All of these resources combined have allowed me to assess the gaps in my knowledge and promote new learning. I've learnt a lot from my fellow students, who have different perspectives that encourage me to think about other possibilities.
