Hey! Hope your day is going magically and satisfyingly. The topic of this activity is The 4 motivation theories and what their significance is from a personal point of view.

To start there's Behavioral Theory. This motivation theory is based on a consequences or reward motivation, meaning some may be motivated by a reward or fear of the negative repercussions of failure. For me I'd totally prefer a treat as a motivator rather than a unfavorable outcome for not completing something.

Second, we have Humanistic Theory which is based on the need for basic human things like food, feeling safe loved and belonging, how you feel about yourself and self-fulfillment. In a sense if you're hungry, need to feel self-love or accomplishment you might seek a job that pays well enough to afford food shelter and the feeling of your basic human needs met. It is also defined as a "hierarchy of needs."

Next there is Cognitive Theory. A motivation theory that says your understanding of something can affect your motivation. An example is maybe finding out a candidate for political office has poor human interaction skills and lack empathy could affect someone voting for that person. On the positive side maybe finding out something was easier than you originally thought so you take the chance to try it out for yourself like deciding for yourself to paint your room instead of paying someone, or trying to cook a new recipe for yourself.

Finally there's Social Theory which to me felt similar to cognitive. The deference however, is this theory IS based on the motivation a person can from a a support system like family or friends. This is like positive comments like when a friend says "you look good today!" or "I like that color on you!" and maybe you felt a little insecure about you outfit so now you smile and carry yourself with a little more confidence. Or maybe you're working on something like a painting or project and your family member sees you kind of struggling so they come over an look at it a say hey that's pretty good and maybe you can add on with this or that to help you feel less stress and you use their idea because it was actually pretty good and they did help you out.

Identifying which theory would be most helpful to me!

I think for me I find Cognitive Theory is my motivation type. My understanding of something does become helpful to complete something. If I have a theory on how to accomplish something and then I find through research I can do it one way or another then I become very motivated in finish the task. If my goal is to finish a project but I see it will be hard to create it in one setting I'll search other ways I can complete it, there is not a "No" just an "figure out how to make a YES!" I thought I could so I did! Heck they guy that came up with a cleaning product we all know and it only took him 409 time to figure it out and now its a "household name". There's a thin line between Genius and Insanity, and it has shown throughout history by people refusing to give up. As Brotha lynch said "I refuse to lose." It went on farther than that in the lyrics but that literally my intro music in my head when I have a plan to make something happen.

2 Motivation techniques that I find useful in school!

First, I like to break down the assignments or task. Set a goal for what I want to have done and then make notes or a rough draft of the tasks so that when I sit down I can just put it all together an knock the assignment out like Rashad Evans! I find that things are less intimidating when I break it down into smaller groups and check the groups off my list till I am finished with the assignments.

Second, I find that having a positive attitude when I go into anything gives me the advantage of seeing how I can get something done and being able to ask for help with a positive tone can change the help given. Even if something is hard for me or seems impossible or the moment I know keeping a positive attitude will make whatever it is More possible. You ever notice the word Impossible is actually I'm possible when you break it down? That word doesn't even believe it's impossible... I always found hat to be motivating as well. I am possible of success with a positive attitude and "refuse to lose" mindset.

With a positive mindset and the ability to break things down anything can become possible. The human experience is short or at least that's what gets said and it's motivation to make the best of everything you feel important. Leave them saying "-Your Name- DID that!" and remember no person that made history ever did it quietly, at some point their voice is heard loudly and it echoed through to the present.
