Desperaux was alive but he was a baby so he was very weak. So everyone thought he will be die soon. Before Desperaux’s mother gave the name to him, rats were attacked mouse and killed so many mouse include his siblings.  Normally, a female mice born more than five mouse at the same time but only Desperaux alive. Chiaroscuro was only lived in dark and suffering dungeon. Dungeon was under the human king’s castle. He went to the castle and he first time saw bright light. Mig’s father didn’t like his daughter, Mig. So he sold her to her Uncle. He never look back her because Mig was unwanted for him. After her father left her, her Uncle brought her and he used her as slave. When her seventh birthday, nobody celebrated her birthday include her Uncle.
