What was it like to make your first AR Lens? - I enjoyed being able to add my own drawings onto a program so that it could move around with my face. However, I struggled with the face binding aspect of it - especially for the lashes. For instance, when I would blink, the lashes would not follow the eye.

How would you make it better for next time? - Research if the issue I faced with the eyes could be solved. And, perhaps I would take the proportions of the Lens Studio model's face into consideration so that components like the lashes would fit better around the eyes.

I have been putting off starting this task for a while in all honesty because I knew it would be challenging and required watching the tutorial multiple times to understand. However, the final product is really amusing and something I'm proud of!

How would you make it better for next time?

Spend more time planning and executing my design; spend more time on lens studio improving my skills. This way, I can make something a lot more detailed and personal.

I thought about images on the face, but that was a bit boring so I decided to do some looking around in the assets of resources and found a nice halloween themed asset pack. From this pack I was able to get a little moving spider texture! It was fun at first, but lacked any wow factor so I decided that two spiders would be better than one.

And so with two spiders on my face, it wasn't enough...

I decided to add a GIPHY spider walking gif as a background segmentation, and I think it really tied the whole thing together. Now with three spiders I am happy - as you can see in the photo.

I got to experiment with different effects, turning simple ideas into interactive experiences. It was all about thinking outside the box, blending imagination with technology, and seeing how even the smallest creative touch could transform reality.

I actually really enjoyed making the lense it was interesting to see the background of what need to be done in order to create one as I had never thought about it before.

The Teacher was very helpful and was really easy to follow so I got it almost immediately and it encouraged me to make a few more 2D Lenses besides this one.

i think to make it better next time is to place them a bit better on my face as when I moved the filter would move away from the desired spots and probably to be a bit more creative possibly importing some outside pictures
