By 1825 Mexico, Central America, and South America were free. A little later Brazil was also declared free. The Spanish rule ended in 1898 when they lost their colonies to the United States calling it the Spanish-American War.</div>]]></description>

The peace towards Mexico and the United States was worse. Uruguay was attacked by Brazil and Argentina in late 1864. Paraguay came and attacked Brazil. A little later Uruguay changed presidents made peace with Brazil and Argentina and fought Paraguay on their side. It took decades for the nation to recover from the mass of people who died. </div>]]></description>

Peru had military alliance with Bolivia got drawn into the war as well. After the battles the Chileans were the one who won the war. In 1881 the Chile army captured Lima, by 1884 Bolivia signed a truce.</div>]]></description>

They then established the Operation Condor where they kill people or else they have to silence the enemies. By the time it ended thousands were either killed and missing. The trust between the South American countries were broken and never trusted again.</div>]]></description>
