Record your predictions in the notebook.</p></li><li><p>Carefully place each object, one at a time, into the water and observe whether it floats or sinks. Record your observations in the notebook.</p></li><li><p>Use the small scale or balance to measure the mass of each object. Record the mass of each object in the notebook.</p></li><li><p>Analyze the data and look for patterns. Discuss why some objects float and others sink based on their density. Consider the relationship between an object's mass and its ability to float in water. This project provides a hands-on way for students to understand the scientific concept of density and its impact on buoyancy.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
